A heatwave has been sweeping the nation this week, which means one thing: ice cream.
So it's no wonder that shoppers are raving about a particular frozen treat from Aldi.
The budget supermarket is now selling its own version of the classic Vienetta on a stick, just in time for the warm season. We can't think of a better on-the-go treat to enjoy in the scorching heat.
Available in stores across the UK, the Gianni’s Mini Viennese Ice Cream Bars are priced at only £1.49 for a box of five.
They come in three delicious flavours - including Vanilla, Strawberry and Mint, but you'll need to be quick as they're being snapped up like hot cakes.
What's more? Each ice cream bar contains 87 calories or less - making them a perfect guilt-free treat.
And Aldi customers can't seem to get enough of the sweet treats, with many raving about them on social media.
One Twitter user shared a photo of his ice cream and said: “Aldi are selling Viennetta on a stick!! What a time to be alive!!”
Another person tweeted: “There’s only one way to save 2020, and that’s by putting a Viennetta mint on a stick. Well played @AldiUK, well played.”
Others were quick to point out that Iceland launched a similar version years ago - and it's still available in stores and online.
Iceland’s Vienna ice creams are identical to Aldi's treats, but each only contain 75 calories.
Looking for more refreshing treats? Starbucks recently launched a new peanut butter cup frappuccino and brought back its popular S'mores flavour.
Both drinks are available in stores and via UberEats in a number of UK locations, but will only be around until September 30th - so be quick!
