If you thought that with just a few sleeps to go until Christmas Day supermarkets would be done with their festive food offerings then think again, as right at the death Aldi might just have launched the best one of the year.
For many people, the best thing about Christmas dinner is pigs in blankets, despite a recently-published national survey suggesting otherwise.
And then there is, of course, the annual debate as to whether Yorkshire puddings belong on your dinner plate come December 25. Well, Aldi has addressed both of those things in the best possible by launching a bit of a festive game-changer - Yorkshire puddings stuffed with pigs in blankets which only went on sale yesterday.
The description is: "Individual mini Yorkshire puddings topped with a British pork, sage and onion stuffing ball, finished with a full pig in blanket."
The Yorkshire puds are priced £2.99 a pack and, at the time of writing, were only available to buy in-store.
