Alan Carr made weight loss pact with Judge Rinder after gaining three stone in lockdown

ALAN Carr has revealed he made a weight-loss pact with his showbiz pal Judge Robert Rinder after piling on the pounds during lockdown.

The Chatty Man star, 44, has admitted he put on three stone last year but made a deal to get back into shape with former Strictly star Rob.

Alan and Judge Rinder, 42, even agreed that the person who lost the least amount of 'fat' would be forced to pay for a slap-up meal.

The comedian told The Mirror: "I rang Rob up last year and said, ‘I am fat.’ He said, ‘I am fat’. So we sent each other pictures and both agreed we were fat.

"We decided whoever had lost the least amount of weight by November 2nd would pay for dinner."

Alan went on to say he has seen a picture of Rob and he is "back to being skinny" again, although he didn't confirm whether he has lost any weight himself.

Last year, before the coronavirus pandemic took hold, Alan found himself feeling inspired by singer Adele's own incredible weight loss story.

The Brit superstar, 32, shed a rumoured seven stone after following a strict diet and Alan admitted he was tempted to give it a go.

He told The Sun: “I have been on a weird diet of a 1,000 calories.

“Adele looks great and she has inspired me. She is looking great. I love Adele."

Alan doesn't appear to have stuck with it, however, given his confession about putting on three stone during lockdown.

But his close friendship with his dieting muse is still going strong.

In fact, Alan has revealed he has even had a sneak preview of her hugely-anticipated forthcoming album, albeit a 'rough' copy.

Speaking to US reality star Michelle Visage for Grazia magazine, Alan admitted: "I've actually heard some tracks on it. Oh my god, it's so amazing. So amazing.

"The thing is, can I just say this, I remember they change all the time because they're really rough things.

"Everyone's like, 'What's it like? What's it like?' But I said to her, I said, 'That voice is like an old friend.'

"Because there are some people in the charts who sound a bit like Adele and you think, 'Oh they sound like Adele' and then when you hear Adele's voice again you go, 'Oh no, there's only one. There's only one Adele."

He also reassured Michelle that Adele's voice has not "gone skinny."

Meanwhile, Alan is set to appear in next Saturday's episode of The Masked Singer on ITV1 as a guest judge.

He will also be hosting the BBC's Interior Design Masters competition , which kicks off on February 2, 2021.

Adele's best friend Alan Carr insists she's always been 'gorgeous' and says he gets annoyed that people are 'focussed on the size of her knickers'
