HARRY IN A HURRY
Harry Kane is hoping a trip to the Caribbean will speed up his recovery from hamstring surgery and have him perfectly poised for the Euros, according to reports.
The Daily Mail say the Spurs striker has flown out to the tropics to complete a warm weather training programme.
England frontman Kane had an operation last month to repair the damage he suffered in Spurs' 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year's Day.
One top doctor has warned Kane is likely to miss the Euros because his recovery will take longer than expected.
He said he was making “good progress”.
SPURS are in FA Cup action as they welcome Southampton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday.
Jose Mourinho's side are still on a high from their hard-earned win over Man City which saw them back in the top four hunt.
In a blow though, Gareth Bale doesn't look set for a return to the Lane anytime soon.
The Welsh stars agent believes Bale will snub any transfer back to Tottenham, even when his Real Madrid contract expires.
The winger, 30, is tied down until the summer of 2022 as he continues to pocket a staggering £600,000 per week – although Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to offer him an extension.
But Bale's representative Jonathan Barnett does not reckon a return to White Hart Lane would be on the cards for his client.
Quizzed on a potential transfer taking Bale back to Spurs, Barnett told talkSPORT: “I don’t think so, no.
“It is about his lifestyle and his children, who have grown up in Madrid.”
While Southend turned down a “six figure” offer for forward teen sensation Charlie Kelman from Spurs on deadline day.
The 18-year-old has scored three goals in his last six games.
But Tottenham's offer for the Basildon ace was not high enough, according to the Southend Echo.
