HE'LL HAVE A HOOT
United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has joined Oldham Athletic on loan.
The 22-year-old – a favourite of Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho – has linked up with the Owls after a failed loan stint at Tranmere, where he played just six times.
Inter are just smashing it this transfer window.
They have given Napoli permission to talk to winger Matteo Politano, while the club want to bring in Fernando Llorente.
The deal for the former Spurs striker Llorente is understood to be a loan.
It will also see the Serie A title-challengers end their interest in Chelsea's Olivier Giroud.
A JUST CAUSE
Leyton Orient will unveil their re-named West Stand after tragic Justin Edinburgh, ahead of their game against another of the late manager's former clubs, Newport County.
The former Spurs midfielder, who also managed Orient and the Exiles, passed away in June aged 49 after a heart attack.
A classy gesture for a classy chap.
Eriksen's transfer remains in the balance. Will he stay or will he go?
STROKE OF LUK
Romelu Lukaku has revealed how he pushed through his move out of Old Trafford.
He told Sky Sports: “I made my decision around March, and I went to the manager's office and told him it was time for me to find something else.
“I wasn't performing and I wasn't playing. I think it was better for both sides to go separate ways. I think I made the right decision.
“Manchester United has made space for the younger players to come through so I think it was a win-win situation for both of us.”
