EX-CHELSEA star Eni Aluko will leave Juventus Women to return to England in January.

The 32-year-old cuts short an extremely successful 18 month spell in Italy, in which she has won Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa.

The former England international scored 15 Serie A goals for Juventus, and will finish her career in black and white with a game against Fiorentina on November 30.

Aluko said: “It's just a matter of feeling like my time in Juventus is complete and fulfilled.

“On the pitch it's been a very successful period, winning every trophy that's it's possible to win in Italy, finishing top scorer and appearing in the Champions League.

“I'm excited to be moving back to London, and back into women's football in England at a time when there are a lot of exciting opportunities.”

CHELSEA will become title contenders if they beat City, claims Dimitar Berbatov.

Writing for the Metro, he said: “City need to bounce back, they are now nine points behind Liverpool and if they lose this one, Chelsea will become title contenders.

“Frank Lampard’s side are on a great run and they can cause City problems.

“But saying that, Guardiola will prepare his team to the maximum and they can’t afford any more slip ups whilst Liverpool are flying.

“They need the win and I think they will get it at the Etihad.”
