HOUSEHUNTERS have blasted a landlord for offering a flat that can only be accessed through a WINDOW.
Tenants must use makeshift steps to get in and out of the £750-a-month property in Colindale, North London.
Other selling points include boxes of cardboard that double up as a rug – as possible renters pointed out, and the bathroom seems to be a former cupboard.
Eagle-eyed homeowners pointed out that unless you could install curtains, every person walking past would be able to see straight into your home.
Others pointed out the fire hazard risks of having to try and exit through a window and said it must have been illegal to have windows as doors.
The description on Rightmove reads: “Newly built studio flat to rent. Rear of shops, close to public transport and plenty of restaurants.
“Please note that the property will be available to move in from 03/06/21 as we are finishing the kitchen fit-out.
“Property comes furnished or unfurnished (tenant can decide). DSS enquiries welcome.
“No Students. No Pets, sorry. No Smokers. Family Friendly. Bills not included. Property has parking. No Garden Access.”
If only I lived local to this I’d be arranging so many time-wasting viewings just to leave feedback saying “the door is a f***** window”
One renter said: “’Includes’ seems generous, ‘Consists of’ would be more accurate. Also love how there’s not even a bed in the picture, presumably because it would make that slum look even smaller.”
Another fumed and called the flat a “premium jail cell” while one raised the concern of bringing furniture into the flat and said: “How the hell do you get furniture in unless it’s supposed to be a hobbit home”

And another one said: “I assumed it couldn’t possibly be real until I clicked through and saw for myself.”
