Bahrainis Commemorate International Quds Day by Staging Protests Across Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahrainis took to the streets in crowded protests in different villages across Bahrain, marking International Quds Day, which falls on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Photos posted by social media activists showed protests in dozens of Bahraini villages on Thursday and Friday (April 13 and 14).

Protestors chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian cause and denounced that Israeli assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshippers.

They also condemned the continuation of the Government of Bahrain in normalization with the occupying entity, calling for the cancellation of agreements and the expulsion of the occupation ambassador.

Protests were staged in a number of villages, mainly Samaheej, Damistan, Karbabad, Al-Malikiya, Sitra, Diraz, Shahrakan, Al-Musalla, Sanabis, Bilad Al-Qadeem, Abu Saiba, Al-Maqsha and Ma'ameer.
