Piers Morgan is set to make his explosive return to Question Time in just a few short days, and the TV presenter is more ready than ever to share controversial opinions as he's gearing up for the panel comeback.
Former Good Morning Britain star Piers, 57, is set to join the panel in London on Thursday, just days after Prime Minister Liz Truss ditched scrapping the 45p tax rate.
After Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng confirmed the dramatic Tory U-turn in a now viral tweet on Monday morning , Piers immediately flocked to Twitter to add fuel to the fire as he announced his return to the BBC show.
As the pound quickly rises against the dollar amid the Tory U-turn, Piers teased: "A good week to make my return to BBC Question Time..."
Joining Piers on the panel on Thursday will be Brian Cox, as well as host of the long-running show, Fiona Bruce.

PA)If Piers' tweet is anything to go by, it seems that there could be much debate on the panel this week following the budget U-turn.
Mr Kwarteng made the surprise announcement on Twitter this morning that the Government would reverse plans to cut the top rate of income tax.
The Chancellor said the proposed tax reduction for those earning more than £150,000 was 'simply a distraction on what was a good set of policies and a strong package'.
The Chancellor said he took 'full responsibility' for announcements unveiled in his mini-Budget 10 days ago, but insisted he would not quit.

PA)“I’m announcing we are not proceeding with the abolition of the 45p tax rate,” he said. “We get it, and we have listened. This will allow us to focus on delivering the major parts of our growth package.”
Mr Kwarteng and Prime Minister Truss are understood to have held crisis talks on Sunday night after it became clear that outrage over the tax cut plans would have dominated the Tory party conference.
Mr Kwarteng’s decision to U-turn on the tax cut plans received broad support from Tory MPs, with Mr Gove saying the Chancellor was “wise” to have changed tack.
“I think Kwasi was absolutely right to recognise for the reasons that he stated that this was not the right tax cut, certainly not the right tax cut at this time and that other elements of the growth plan were more important,” he told Times Radio.

REUTERS)However, Piers has other ideas on the matter, as he labelled both Kwarteng and Truss as 'humiliating' in a furious Twitter rant.
The former Good Morning host wrote: "Tories to U-turn on 45p tax rate cut. Humongous humiliation for @trussliz and @KwasiKwarteng and worse possible start to their conference. She'll have to sack him, surely?
Piers went on: "I think it's ridiculous in a severe cost-of-living crisis to cut taxes for the wealthy, lifter banker bonus caps, and refuse to windfall tax energy firms. We need to protect the poorest people in our society to ensure they can feed their families and pay their bills."
In another tweet, Piers insisted: "No offence to our new Prime Minister & Chancellor, but on balance I’d prefer the country to be led by people who do ‘ground work’ before announcing hugely damaging economic policies they have to immediately reverse."
