THE first three episodes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's highly controversial documentary have aired on Netflix with fans claiming they've uncovered inconsistencies in the story behind how the couple met.
The couple's docuseries, titled Harry and Meghan, dives into the pair's "love story" as well as their feud with the Royal Family.
During one of the episodes Harry details how the couple first hooked up.
Back in 2017 Harry told the BBC: "It was definitely a set-up — it was a blind date. It was a blind date for sure.”
But in one of the episodes released today, Harry claimed that "Meghan and I met over Instagram."

Archie pictured in the series
'I don’t know what to say anymore'
Footage of the couple introducing son Archie to the media then plays with Harry’s voice saying: “My job is to keep my family safe. By the nature of being born into this position and with everything else that comes with it and the level of hate that is being stirred up in the last three years especially against my wife, and my son, I’m generally concerned for the safety of my family.”
Meghan can then be seen again, towel wrapped around her hair, saying: “I just really want to get to the other side of all of this.”
There is a pause where she sits silently and then she appears emotional and says: “I don’t know what to say anymore.”
What is Prince Harry's nickname for Meghan?
A sweet selfie of the couple is shown on screen during the Netflix series - the pair looking relaxed in regular clothes and smiling at the camera - as Harry recalls.
“When I got to meet M, I was terrified of her being driven away by the media. The same media that have driven so many other women away from me.”
It’s a fitting nickname for the ex-Hollywood actress, who in turn calls her husband ‘H’.
'When I was in the UK I rarely wore colour'
During episode three, Meghan claimed that she rarely wore colour while in the UK.
She said: "When I was in the UK I rarely wore colour".
The Duchess explained that the reason for this was mainly not to clash with the Queen and more senior royals.
Meghan said: "I wore a lot of muted tones... I also wore it so I could just blend in."
And she added: "I'm not trying to stand out here. I don't want to embarrass the family."
However, there are a number of pictures taken on royal occasions showing that Meghan has routinely worn bright colours including red, green and yellow.
'Most kids who are the product of divorced parents have a lot in common'
The Duke of Sussex has spoken of being “pulled from one place to another” during his parents’ divorce.
Speaking in episode two of the six-part Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries, released on Thursday, he said: “I think most kids who are the product of divorced parents have a lot in common, no matter what your background is.
“Being pulled from one place to another, or maybe your parents are competitive, or you’re in one place longer than you want to be in, you’re in another place less than you want to be…
“There’s all sorts of pieces to that.”
Meghan and Harry look set for talk show
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly set to make their talk show debut next week.
The Sussexes are expected to appear on The Tonight Show next Thursday - the day their final three episodes are released.
Body language expert claims Harry and Meg have produced a 'bad rom-com'
Body language expert Judi James says it’s more like a bad rom-com than a royal tale.
Speaking about Prince Harry, Judi James said: “His body language suggests he’s in deep shock, so much so that he can’t remember the day of the week.
“His breathing suggests stress, his verbal fillers of ‘Um…’ signal confusion. He rolls his eyes and performs a tongue-poke which all suggest adrenaline caused by stress.
“As the piano trills loudly he says ‘What happened?’ like a survivor crawling out of a wreck.”

Back in 2017 Harry told the BBC: "It was definitely a set-up — it was a blind date. It was a blind date for sure.”
But in episode one released today, Harry claimed that "Meghan and I met over Instagram."
He added: "I was scrolling through my feed and someone who was a friend had this video of the two of them."
And the Prince revealed the first time he saw a picture of Meghan was a snap of her with a dog filter on.
"Oh gosh, isn't that whole thing, it's got like doggy ears," Meghan said, laughing.
"That was the first thing, "I was like who is that?"," Harry said, with Meghan adding: "That's ridiculous."
Docuseries inaccuracies
The bombshell Netflix series began with a written statement on a black background saying it is a "first hand account of Harry & Meghan's story told with never before seen personal archive".
It said all interviews were finished in August 2022 and "members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series".
However, it's understood the Royal family were not approached for comment on the content of the series.
When will the next three episodes be released?
The first three episodes of Meghan and Harry's docuseries were released today and there have already been lots of revelations, although many contradict previous claims.
The next three episodes will be released this time next week on December 15.
'This is worse than Keeping Up with the Kardashians'
TV presenter Piers Morgan has blasted the series as "worse than the Kardashians" and said that the couple are "boring".
TalkTV's Piers tweeted: "This is worse than Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Something I didn’t think was humanly possible.
"Disgusting how they’re repeatedly trying to brand Britain a racist country. Most tolerant place in Europe, as all the coverage of their engagement/wedding showed."
King Charles pictured since Netflix docuseries release
King Charles was meeting volunteers at King's House, a community hub in King's Cross, North London today.
It comes hours after Prince Harry and Meghan markle released their Netflix series in which the Duke took aim at his family.
In an apparent jibe at his father, Harry claimed he was "brought up" by friends in Africa.
He said: "I've got a second family out there. A group of friends that literally brought me up."
Meghan and Harry claimed they 'weren't allowed to tell our story'
Meghan and Harry have vowed to tell details of their "love story" in their own words during the six-part show.
In one shock clip, the Duke and Duchess claimed they "weren't allowed to tell our story" while working members of the royals.
Members of the Royal Family have thus far declined to comment to Netflix about the shock show.
Meghan speaks about her first meeting with Kate Middleton
Meghan said in her Netflix documentary: "Even when Will and Kate came over and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner.
"I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot.
"I’m a hugger I’ve always been a hugger. I didn’t know that could be jarring for a lot of Brits.
"I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality out on the outside, carried through on on the inside.
"That there is a forward facing way of being then you close the door and you go phew, great we can relax now.
"But that formaility continues on both sides and that was surprising to me."
Fans all talking about the same thing
Meghan and Harry’s first-born child Archie, who is three years old, can be heard speaking for the very first time during the first three instalments of the fly-on-the-wall documentary.
One person took to Twitter and wrote: “Not Archie having the most adorable American accent.”
A second social media user added: “Awww Archie has an American accent.”
A third joined in the conversation, as they commented: “Prince Harry’s son Archie is none British, all American with ‘thick accent’.”
How does the series start?
The first episode opens at an airport – the camera zooms in on a departures board while piano music plays.
Harry is then seen and text on the screen tell viewers he is in the Windsor Suite at Heathrow Airport in March 2020.
He appears to be filming himself speaking into his phone camera and says: “Hi. So we’re here on Wednesday the something of March.
“We’ve just finished our two weeks, our like final push, our last stint of royal engagements.
“It’s really hard to look back on it now and go ‘what on earth happened’? Like, how did we end up here?”
As Harry speaks, images of the couple flash on screen, followed by newspaper headlines and broadcasters’ audio from coverage about their decision to step back from royal life.
Royal expert left asking questions
Following the release of Meghan and Harry's Netflix docuseries, one royal expert has been left asking questions.
Angela Levin took to Twitter to question why Meghan would still want a royal title.
She said: "Meghan on Netflix...."However hard I tried they (the press) were going to ...destroy me." Why would she still want a royal title?"
Piers Morgan slams Prince Harry
Piers Morgan has hit out at Prince Harry after he claimed "Meghan doesn't have a father" during their newly released docuseries.
Piers Tweeted: "Wow. Shocking thing for Harry to say about Thomas Markle, the man he has never met.
"She does have a father, and he brought her up on his own for years. Where is that in the documentary?"
'Meghan doesn't have a father', says Harry
In episode three, the Duke of Sussex admitted he “shouldered” the breakdown of Meghan’s relationship with her father, Thomas Markle.
The pair have been estranged since he was caught staging paparazzi photographs ahead of her wedding.
Harry said: “Of course it is incredibly sad what happened.
“She had a father before this and now she doesn’t have a father.
“And I shouldered that because if Meg wasn’t with me, then her dad would still be her dad.”
My mother Diana was compelled to talk
Harry said his mother was “compelled” to talk about her life.
In episode one, he says: “I think she had a lived experience of how she was struggling living that life.
“She felt compelled to talk about it.”
The show then turns to the subject of Diana’s BBC Panorama interview, and Harry says: “I think we all now know that she was deceived into giving the interview, but at the same time she spoke the truth of her experience.”
This part of the episode includes footage of Martin Bashir asking Diana about press interest in her.
A happy childhood
Episode one features footage of a young William and Harry playing at a piano accompanied by their parents and interview footage of Diana talking about her two sons.
William appears to tell Harry not to stand on his toe, and Diana says: “William. He’s a typical three-year-old. Very enthusiastic. Whereas perhaps Harry is more quieter and just watches.
“He’s certainly a different character altogether.”
The footage also shows the King, then Prince of Wales, putting a white handkerchief on his head and making a funny face to try and get Harry’s attention for a photograph.
Harry tells the Netflix show: “My childhood, I remember, or was, filled with laughter, filled with happiness, and filled with adventure.”

The TV presenter added that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "so boring" in the series.
