Former Brazilian sensation Robinho has moved to Manchester City for a record-breaking £32.5million... after being banned from joining Chelsea.
Real Madrid ignored Bruce because he started selling replicas of his shirts with his name on them before signing with the Blues in 2008.
Robinho's spectacular move shocked the football world and prompted the Abu Dhabi empire to buy Premier League City in his 2008.
But the little Brazilian maestro was determined to move to London.
The deal was all agreed upon, but before the deal was finalized, Bruce had Chelsea printed Robinho's name on shirts and was ready to sell tens of thousands of them in stores.
This angered the Spanish giant.
Robinho, 38, once revealed in an interview with Spanish media Marca: "My goal was to go to Chelsea." I didn't like Chelsea selling shirts with my name on them before I left.
"I don't regret leaving Madrid. But I made a mistake when I left."
"Madrid was the club that opened the door for me and gave me the opportunity to conquer Europe.
